Instructions

  • Combine the flour and salt in a large mixing bowl.
  • Dissolve yeast in water in a small bowl.
  • Stir the yeast mixture into the flour mixture until a shaggy dough forms.
  • Knead the dough for about 10 minutes on a lightly floured surface, or until smooth and elastic.
  • Cover the dough in a lightly oiled bowl with plastic wrap.
  • Allow to rise for 1-2 hours in a warm, draft-free place, until doubled in size.
