Instructions

  • Whisk together the flour, cornmeal, salt, sugar, and yeast in a large mixing bowl.
  • Stir in the water and olive oil until a dough forms.
  • Knead the dough for 5-7 minutes on a floured surface, then place it in a greased bowl and cover with a cloth.
  • Allow the dough to rise for 1 hour in a warm place.
  • Preheat the oven to 450°F.
  • Roll out the dough and place it in a 9-inch deep dish pan that has been greased.
  • Spread the pizza sauce on top of the dough, then top with the mozzarella cheese and sliced mushrooms.
